Mariano Fuga was born in Nove (VI) in 1948.
He attended the Art Institute of Nove for pottery, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, in the course of sculpture by Alberto Viani. He has taught at the Design Ceramic Art Institute of Gargnano (BS).
The interest in the representation of the human figure is realized in the creation of flying figures, figures in the balance, figures who aspire to be kite, divers more or less convinced, athletes perplexing, often placed on columns, concretions of various clays that look turned from time, seem reduced to their lowest terms by an invisible rotating movement that consumes and makes them essential.
From the seventies to today is called and gets awards in major national and international events of contemporary sculpture and ceramics.
