Biography

Zsolt Jozsef Simon was born in Hungary in 1973. After training as a ceramist, in Budapest he studied painting, theatre and music.

He graduated at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, and then won a one-year scholarship in Indonesia where he developed new techniques and found an important source of inspiration. His works were exhibited at the 4th and 5th International Ceramics Biennial Exhibitions in Korea (2007, 2009) and at the Spanish International Biennial exhibition in Manises (2009), where he received significant accolades.

His sculptures have been exhibited in Europe and Indonesia.
